Aleena Ashok Malayil, NP has always been a nurturer, which she feels was a natural segue into a career as a healthcare provider. As a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner Specialist, she loves being able to improve her patients’ quality of life through a holistic approach to primary care. She prefers this over one speciality, since she is “taking care of the system, and not focusing on one area of [the] body.” She wants her patients to know that prevention is the best medicine, and that making their health a priority through regular screenings and a healthy lifestyle is the best approach to good health.

Outside of work, her favorite activities are spending time with family, cooking, and getting a good night’s sleep.
