Remember the hand that talked on tv with the face. The one that made the creamy meat and pasta dish as a kid. I do, I also remember my mom never buying this box stating “ it’s not healthy! or even real food”. So, easy to say I never had it. Last night I was looking for an easy one pot dish to have with my kids and Friday is pasta night. I was reminiscent since it is the holiday season so I tried a healthy spin on an old dish. My dog made a different variation of this when I was a kid. Maybe I’ll share that one in the future
1 pound pasta of choice
2 pounds turkey meat
2 cups beef broth
1 16oz can tomato sauce (unflavored)
1 onion diced
1tbsp coconut oil
1tsp basil
1tsp oregano
1tsp onion powder
1tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ cup whole milk
Sauté turkey meat in oil for 5 minutes or until brown. Next add seasoning, broth tomatoes and pasta. Cook on medium until boiling. Once biking cover and turn on low. Within -0 minutes enjoy a one pot kid friendly meal!
