After this weeks Celiac Support Group it was discussed that the hardest dish to make GF on Thanksgiving is stuffing. This is in part due to most of the packaged GF stuffing and comparing it with the homemade counterpart. ALst year i made a sausage GF stuffing that I and definitly going to duplicate.
½ pound of gluten free breakfast sausage
2 stalks celery diced
1 carrot diced
1 onion diced
3-4 cups chicken broth
1 loaf schar or your favorite gluten free bread (I used a combination of whole grain and white)
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp rosemary
1 tsp sage
1 tsp pepper
Salt to taste
Take bread and break into small pieces. Set aside in bowl. Next heat skillet and place sausage in, cook for 2 minutes. Add the celery, carrots and onion. Saute for about 5 miutes on medium heat. Next a
