A lot of patients that I have encountered over the past year are suffering from IBS or IBS like symptoms. These symptoms can affect their lives in a magnitude of ways. Some need to know where all bathrooms are at all times, others need to keep extra clothes with them at work or in the car. While others may be asked, “When are you due?”(no I am not expecting but whatever I just ate made me look this way) Whatever the reason it is important to know you are not alone. Many people suffer from this disease and feel that there is no help! Over the past 10 years there has been some great advances in our research on the impact of our diet and IBS. If you would like to know or learn more come to our IBS support group tomorrow night! Located at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital 5:30pm in conference room A. We will be discussing the validity of different diets and IBS. Always remember in our group it is safe to talk about poop!
