Delicious!! And it looked good!

With three kids who has time to make breakfast for yourself? Who has time to eat it even if you found the time to make it? I can tell you not me! Charlie get your shoes on for the bus! peter get off the counter ano don’t throw that at your brother! These are just a few of the phrases that occur daily in my house. With a baby crying to get fed in the background sometimes it’s a wonder I get to eat breakfast at all (which sometimes I do skip but I am trying to make an effort not to lately). This is why I love smoothies! Don’t get me wrong would I rather sit down and have a decent breakfast? Yes! ! But who has the time for that? A smoothie is meant to be quick, easy and a complete breakfast that in my opinion allows parents to get all of their nutrition requirements in one gulp. I know that this is not entirely true but I can’t help to think that a smoothie was invented with parents in mind. Below is a recipe to a mocha smoothie that adds a little jolt to your morning. Happy Smoothie!
¼ cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
1 tsp instant espresso or coffee grinds
1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 banana
1 cup milk of choice
½ cup ice
Mix all ingredients in a blender and enjoy!
