Mariamma Kurian

I believe every patient deserves to be truly heard and cared for in a way that makes them feel understood.

I am a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with many years of experience in Med-Surgical and Orthopedic nursing, and I am certified in geriatrics. I earned my nursing degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey and completed my Family Nurse Practitioner program at Mercy University. I worked for many years at Phelps Memorial Hospital, where I gained extensive experience caring for patients across a variety of medical and orthopedic needs. My career has been shaped by a deep compassion for patients and a desire to walk alongside them in every stage of health.

I was drawn to primary care because I value the opportunity to build long-term relationships with my patients. I take time to listen carefully, understand each individual’s story, and provide empathetic, holistic care that goes beyond treating symptoms. My goal is for every patient to feel respected, supported, and confident that their concerns are taken seriously.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and taking long walks. These moments keep me balanced and bring me joy, while also reminding me of the importance of connection and well-being in everyday life.
