Laura M. Varlaro, MSRPA-C treats her patients with compassion, understanding, and the thoroughness of a seasoned Physician Assistant

As a child, Laura M. Varlaro, MSRPA-C loved the idea of becoming a doctor or working in healthcare. A positive encounter with a family practitioner, and her own mother’s career as a nurse, were at the very forefront of her mind when it came time to decide her own career path, and those experiences coupled with her own love of the diagnostic process led directly to her eventual role as a Physician Assistant in Family Medicine. She takes great pleasure in watching her patients grow and develop over time, from children, to fully-grown adults.

In connecting with her patients, Laura M. Varlaro, MSRPA-C takes time to “listen to their concerns as well as everyday stories they may want to share,” and explains their diagnoses in a simple and easy to understand manner. Most importantly, she goes to great lengths to ensure that her patients know that she truly cares for them, and that she is not only their Physician Assistant, but a trusted friend and confidant.

In her free time, Laura M. Varlaro, MSRPA-C enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, hiking, biking, and exploring trails in New York State.
