Kathleen Reitter, FNP-BC believes in exploring the barriers of health care unique to each of her patients
When exploring the boundaries of the nursing field, Kathleen Reitter knew early on that she wanted a certain level of autonomy and decision-making authority for her patients. Only five years after finishing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, she returned for her Master’s Degree and Family Nurse Practitioner certification, one of the “best decisions of [her] life.”
She loves having the ability to see infants, toddlers, teenagers, and adults all in the same day, allowing her to “switch gears” frequently as a provider and meet each of her patients on their level. A bad personal experience during a routine procedure is what spurned Kathleen Reitter, FNP-BC, into seeking a career in healthcare, and as a result, she has made it her priority to ensure her patients feel understood and valued.
When she is not working, Kathleen Reitter enjoys reading, riding her bike, music, gardening, and spending time with her family.
