David Walker, M.D. takes the time to speak with his patients in a clear and simple way

A fascination with biology and the study of life spurned David Walker, M.D. into pursuing a career in medicine, and after some preliminary research into the field, he discovered he also had a knack for the diagnostic process. As a Board Certified Family Medicine Specialist, he works directly with his patients, and he feels that “listening to them and hearing their problems and concerns gives [him] a chance to interact and comfort them as [he] treats their disease.”

When interacting with patients, Dr. Walker takes the time to explain their problems and diseases to them in a simple and straightforward way so they have a clear understanding of what is going on. He believes that people seek out doctors who take the time to listen to them and be a confidant, and he seeks to provide that level of care for his patients. The most important thing to Dr. Walker is that his patients know that he “truly cares about them and is not only a doctor, but a friend.”

His busy schedule does not allow for a lot of time outside of work, but when he does have a free moment, Dr. Walker enjoys playing ping pong with friends and family.
